- Connect business systems only after an authorised user approves the connection.
WorkOS does not autonomously optimise, launch, or alter advertising campaigns. Campaign recommendations are reviewed by people. When Campaign Studio is enabled, newly created Meta campaign objects are created paused, and launch requires a separate approval.
A company administrator may choose to connect their own Meta Business assets and advertising account to WorkOS using Meta's secure OAuth authentication flow.

Once connected, WorkOS can:

Read advertising account, campaign, ad set, ad, and performance data.

Present campaign history, trends, and deterministic performance findings.

Help authorised users plan, monitor, and evaluate marketing experiments.

Provide direct links to Meta Ads Manager for manual campaign management.

Support a controlled Campaign Studio workflow where enabled.
WorkOS does not autonomously optimise, launch, or modify advertising campaigns. Campaign recommendations are always reviewed by authorised users. Where Campaign Studio is enabled, newly created Meta campaign objects are created in a paused state and require separate user approval before they can be published.

Support the linked Instagram identity flow used by the integration.

Read basic Instagram identity information associated with the selected Facebook Page.
Security and responsible data handling are fundamental to WorkOS.

When a Meta advertising account is connected:
-Meta access tokens are encrypted and securely stored on the server.
-Connected data is accessible only to authorised members of the company that connected the account.
-Advertising performance information is stored solely to provide reporting, deterministic findings, and experiment measurement.
-Account and campaign history is retained for up to 90 days.
-Detailed ad and ad set delivery records are retained for up to 60 days.
-Users may disconnect their Meta account from WorkOS at any time.
